The Future of AI Security: A10 Networks Showcases Next-Generation Solutions for Protecting Artificial Intelligence and Enterprise Applications in Baku

The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence technologies is creating new business opportunities while simultaneously introducing fundamentally new cybersecurity challenges. Prompt Injection, Jailbreak attacks, AI agent compromise, API attacks, and confidential data leakage have become real threats for organizations actively integrating large language models (LLMs) and AI services into their business processes. As a result, organizations increasingly require security solutions capable of protecting not only traditional IT infrastructure but also artificial intelligence environments.

These topics were the focus of The Future of AI Security seminar, organized by FOMINOV CONSULTING in partnership with A10 Networks. The event took place on 21 July at the Hilton Baku Hotel, bringing together CIOs, information security professionals, network architects, and representatives of Azerbaijan’s leading organizations. The seminar focused on modern approaches to securing AI applications, enterprise networks, web services, and APIs, while also presenting practical implementation examples from various countries around the world.

The event opened with a welcome speech by Ayten Mustafayeva, Director of FOMINOV CONSULTING, who emphasized the importance of the company’s partnership with one of the world’s leading providers of network and cloud security solutions.

The first keynote speaker was Steve Dallas, Head of Emerging Markets at A10 Networks. During his presentation, he outlined the company’s evolution over the past two decades, highlighting how A10 Networks has become one of the global leaders in network performance and cybersecurity solutions. Particular attention was given to the company’s growth strategy across the EMEA region and emerging markets, where rapid digital transformation is accompanied by an increasing number of sophisticated cyber threats.

Steve Dallas noted that A10 Networks continues to invest heavily in AI-driven technologies, adapting its traditional network security solutions to meet the demands of the modern digital economy. According to him, today’s organizations require a comprehensive platform capable of delivering high application performance while simultaneously ensuring protection of critical services, resilience against DDoS attacks, and security for AI infrastructure. He also presented the company’s key AI Security initiatives and shared examples of successful projects implemented across multiple countries within the region.

The presentation continued with Yuli Yavich, Regional Manager at A10 Networks, who provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s portfolio and showcased its flagship solutions for large enterprises, financial institutions, government organizations, and telecommunications operators. Particular attention was given to the A10 ecosystem, which integrates application security, load balancing, DDoS protection, service availability, and centralized security management into a unified platform.

The speaker also shared successful deployment examples from CIS countries, presenting projects aimed at protecting government information systems, banking infrastructure, and large corporate networks. In addition, he discussed current trends shaping the cybersecurity market, including the rapid growth of encrypted traffic, the increasing number of attacks targeting APIs and web applications, and the need for integrated security platforms that consolidate multiple technologies within a single architecture.

The event’s principal technical presentation was delivered by Yaniv Hess, Senior Systems Engineer at A10 Networks, who introduced the new A10 AI Firewall platform—a dedicated solution designed to protect enterprise AI environments and large language models (LLMs). He provided an in-depth overview of AI Gateway and AI Firewall, explaining how they enable intelligent routing of requests across multiple LLMs, centralized user access control, AI usage cost management, and comprehensive protection against emerging AI-specific threats.

Special attention was paid to defending against Prompt Injection, Jailbreak attacks, confidential data leakage, and attempts to bypass corporate security policies. The solution analyzes both user prompts and AI-generated responses, identifying potentially malicious content and preventing the compromise of AI services. It supports both public cloud-based and on-premises AI models while incorporating security mechanisms aligned with the OWASP LLM Top 10 recommendations.

Another key topic was the ThreatX platform, which combines Web Application Firewall (WAF), API security, DDoS protection, bot management, and behavioral threat analytics within a single solution. By leveraging a unified threat detection engine and centralized management, the platform significantly reduces operational complexity, minimizes false positives, and improves the overall efficiency of incident response.

The seminar also featured a presentation on SSL Insight, A10 Networks’ centralized SSL/TLS decryption technology. According to A10 Networks, approximately 95% of today’s Internet traffic is encrypted, limiting the visibility and effectiveness of traditional security tools. SSL Insight enables SSL/TLS decryption at a centralized point within the network, offloading computational overhead from firewalls and other security appliances. This approach improves infrastructure performance while enabling comprehensive inspection of encrypted traffic without compromising application speed or user experience.

Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to discuss practical implementation scenarios with experts from A10 Networks and FOMINOV CONSULTING, exchange experiences from real-world projects, and receive recommendations on building modern cybersecurity architectures capable of protecting enterprise infrastructure in the era of artificial intelligence.

The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, followed by a gala dinner that provided attendees with an excellent opportunity to continue discussions, strengthen professional relationships, and explore future cooperation in an informal networking environment.
