FOMINOV CONSULTING Brings Together Commvault and Everpure for an Interactive Cyber Resilience Event in Baku
FOMINOV CONSULTING, in collaboration with Commvault and Everpure, hosted an event in Baku dedicated to cyber resilience, ransomware recovery, and business continuity.
The event brought together IT leaders, cybersecurity specialists, and business representatives to explore practical approaches to managing cyber threats, protecting critical data, and ensuring business continuity.
The central part of the program was “Minutes to Meltdown: Interactive Cyber Resilience Experience,” led by Raza Syed, Channel and Alliances CTO Emerging Markets at Commvault.
Unlike traditional presentations, this interactive experience placed participants in the middle of a simulated ransomware attack. Working in teams and taking on executive roles such as CEO, CTO, CISO, and Chief Legal Counsel, attendees were challenged to make critical decisions under pressure.
Throughout the simulation, participants explored key aspects of ransomware response, including communication with attackers, backup integrity, recovery strategies, legal implications, and the potential consequences of ransom payments. The exercise highlighted the importance of cross-functional collaboration and demonstrated how decisions made during a cyber incident can directly affect business operations and organizational resilience.
The program continued with “Cyber Resilience in a Data-Driven World with Everpure,” presented by Alexander Kuzmin, Regional SE Leader, Turkey & CIS. The session focused on the importance of cyber resilience in today’s data-driven business environment and the role of modern data infrastructure in supporting business continuity and recovery readiness.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, followed by a gala dinner and networking, providing participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss cybersecurity challenges, and build professional connections.
