On December 6, 2024, the fourth annual AWITA – Azerbaijan Women in Tech Awards ceremony was held at the Fairmont Hotel in Baku, organized by the Femmes Digitales public association – Supporting Women in TECH.

Founded in 2014, the Femmes Digitales public association has become an inspiration and opportunity for thousands of girls and women from all corners of Azerbaijan, including rural areas. Educational programs, trainings and mentoring initiatives are carried out on a charitable basis, opening new horizons for women in technology. FOMINOV CONSULTING has been supporting Femmes Digitales organization for many years. And this year was no exception. In addition to sponsorship support, our company was also presented as a nominee in one of the key award categories.

Gender equality and inclusion are an integral part of FOMINOV CONSULTING’s policy, so it is not surprising that we once again entered the top three finalists in “The Inclusive employer of the year” category. Also, this year our company was given the opportunity to announce the winner in one of the nominations. This honor was given to Business Development Director Azer Mammadzada, who at the appropriate moment announced the winner in the nomination “Hardware and Software Designer of the Year”. It was Narmina Talibova – in her person we congratulate all the women who won in each of the nominations, and we wish the rest of the participants not to be upset and to definitely try their chance next year.
