“Family Astro camp”, 21-22.06.25

On June 21–22, an interesting and educational Astro Camp was organized at the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory in partnership with Forest School Azerbaijan and Fominov Consulting.
For two days, children got acquainted with the science of astronomy, gained basic knowledge about space, planets and stars. During the excursion to the observatory, participants learned about the history and modern development of astronomy in Azerbaijan and observed the sky through professional telescopes.
In addition to astronomy, children participated in a practical training on survival skills in nature. The training was conducted by Saleh Bakhshiyev, a wildlife photographer and expert in survival in extreme conditions. He gave the children valuable knowledge about the rules of behavior in nature and observation skills.
